    Meet Featured Builder Anthony Robinson

Anthony Robinson loves three things for sure, his supportive family, motorcycles, and coffee. Hence the name of his shop, Gasoline and Coffee. Anthony is crazy about coffee! He married his love of bikes and freshly brewed coffee to create a place where people can enjoy both. His 91 Octane is a smooth blend, while his 89 Octane gets you goin’ in the morning. Gasoline and Coffee is located in Lancaster, California, bringing gearheads and caffeine addicts together under one roof.

Anthony has gathered several awards, including best Pre-Unit at Bornfree 12 and 13. He has been Crowned and still raining “King of Builders” of the 2021 JP International Motorcycle Show with his masterpiece “Black Coffee.” Anthony has been featured in several magazines, including EasyRider and Cycle Source, just to name a few. Anthony has continued to run his day job as owner of a Garage Door Company, “American Classic Garage Doors,” for over 20 years, all the while slinging coffee and building masterpieces for Gasoline And Coffee.

Make sure to visit Anthony's booth during the day!

From CF Featured Artist Ricky Prayudi

      Title: Route 62
      Year: 2022
      Technique: Digital painting
      Size: 4800px X 3200px

Description: The spirit of David Mann, one of the references, his honesty, and persistence in his work make me always excited and passionate about painting it. My work is inspired by his paintings which are very honest and essential in the development of the custom world of his time, landscapes of events from the point of view of what I experienced is one of the various daily events. Route 62 is a brief record of what I see and feel about the problems, uniqueness, and local culture around the streets. 62, here is the country code where I live, namely INDONESIA. -@ricorder_

You can see this piece in the Custom Culture Art Show in the Anacapa Hall.

Article and photos by Josh Hawks - The beautiful thing about custom motorcycles is that as divisive as building bikes can be, it can also bring people together. This is the case with Chris Edwards, a friend of mine. Had it not been for custom motorcycles, I probably wouldn’t have met him. What’s shocking is that we’ve known each other since elementary school, but I would have never known the guy if not for meeting him a few years back at a local ice cream joint. Read more.

                New Feature!

Many brick-and-mortar shops worldwide offer motorcycle enthusiasts support through customization, fabrication, upgrades, and even one-off parts. One such shop is Filthy Gringos, based in Crockett, Texas. The husband and wife team Ronald and Robin Ogg work together to provide top-quality service.

                  Please read!

"As many of you have noticed and have been calling us about, a storm is hitting So Cal this weekend, especially in Ventura, CA, where five different weather apps forecast an inch or more rain between Sat-Sun. With this news, we have made the tough decision to reschedule the event, as we did back in 2018. The rescheduled date will be Sunday, February 12th, 2023. All GA tickets, bike show registrations, and vendor spaces will transfer to the new date. The artists, bike builders, vendors, and sponsors work too hard all year to create great stuff for the show. We can't put on the show in the rain and risk poor attendance for them. We wanted to give you as much notice as possible to adjust your plans. Please help us spread the word so as not to inconvenience anyone. Thank you for understanding, and we hope to see you in February." -Tory Chopper Festival / @chopperfest

                          Support hot bike magazine

"Look, it's real simple. We're bored with social media. We like magazines. We think you do too. That said, we're asking for your help in bringing HOT BIKE Magazine back to print in 2023! HOT BIKE magazine has been an iconic part of American history and is the archetype of American V-twin performance and custom culture since 1971.

Due to the corporate bean counters who saw HOT BIKE magazine as a "line item," the magazine temporarily ceased publishing in 2019... Until now! After acquiring the rights to this iconic brand, the new independently owned and operated HOT BIKE owners felt you fine folks were worth reading an actual magazine once again. We're working hard to bring this iconic, 50-year-old print magazine back in 2023, but we cannot do it without your support. We've secured the right printers using quality materials. We've hired the best photographers and writers who know their shit. We've curated the best overall humans (no algorithms to speak of) to help bring this magazine back to your doorsteps in 2023.

Essentially, Kickstarter is a public crowdfunding resource where funds are collected to back a creative project. It's an all-or-nothing concept, so after a project is created and a financial goal is set, backers are only charged if the collective funding meets or exceeds that goal on or around the date the campaign's deadline is reached. If the financial goal isn't reached, nobody gets charged a dime. Simple. For Hot Bike, it's essentially a pre-paid subscription for four issues in 2023 that backers helped contribute to its return. And dependent on the tier YOU support, you'll get some cool swag too! Please go here to get involved. Thank you!" Jordan Mastagni

From our friends at Russ Brown

"Winter is just around the corner, and in most of the United States, motorcycle riders are putting their motorcycles away. In Southern California, we have the luxury of riding year-round. Even though our weather is usually above freezing in Southern California, it does not mean we don’t come across rain, snow, and ice. Riding in the rain and snow can make a motorcycle trip completely miserable, but there are some things we can do to stay warm and be safe while riding, no matter what the weather throws at us. Whether we are riding in the Malibu Canyons or in the mountains, there is always the possibility of snow, ice, and rain while riding.  We will get into riding the roads during the wintertime and riding gear to wear to help keep us warm, dry, and safe."
