    Default Help identifying invader wheel

Hey yall i came across this 16" rear invader. I don't know much at all about it and want to use on current build. If anyones got some answers on it that'd be badass.

I know there's different setup for an Ironhead invader and an big twin, which is this one?

The size of the hole in the hub are different sizes. The Threaded side has an ID: 1.55"/40mm and the flange side has an
ID: 1"/26mm. When I bought the wheel it came with bearing on the threaded side and a crush tube through the otherside. Havin one bearing just don't sound right. Any insight on that would be great

It's a big twin "mid-star" (ball bearing) replacement. The left side bearings (2 on the rear) go in the brake drum.

That invader is for use with a "mid-star (1967-172)" configuration brake. The drum in your picture is for the earlier juice brake with a star hub and will not work with that invader. The mid-star configuration brake drum carries two ball bearings on the brake/drive side for a total of three ball bearings in the wheel. Mid star era brake stuff is what you need to use with that that invader...
