Thread: Unique problem

    Default Unique problem

Ib was cleaning my carb with some Berrymans and spilled a few teaspoons on the motor. Believe it or not it took some paint off! It peeled up like acid. I can't believe it. What can I do to paint the motor?

Where is the prob, can you send a pic? Also, was this a factory finish or aftermarket/prior owner apply the paint?

The reason I ask is if the surface that got damaged happened quickly, its probabaly just a spray can applied paint job that can be easily fixed

Dealer sells spray cans of "textured" paint.

    Do NOT buy wrinkle.

This assuming you have a factory black texture on engine/trans. I have no idea about silver.

    Problem solved. Dont whine.

I wasn't really trying to solve your problem. I was just trying to help you get your bike fixed.
