    93" Pan Shovel Chopper

Hey guys, I just wanted to make a quick collection on the bike I'm close to finishing. Bought it last August and collected parts for it until really getting to work on it in December. Come see it and a bunch of other cool bikes at The One Moto Show in Portland, Oregon April 29-May 1

Thanks to Jim, Drag, everyone else on the previous thread helping me identify what I've got motor wise: http://www.chopcult.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55138

Started with a a mystery motor in a 70s fx frame:

got straight way to pulling it apart and hard tailing the frame, went with a vtwin section and immediately sent it back because it was so fucking crooked between the axle plates. Picked up a Throttle Addiction MiUSA hard tail section and am much happier Dirtyhandsgarage in Portland, Oregon did the work on that:

wasted no time getting it into a roller:

mocked up before tear down for paint:

Paint my girlfriend and I did, her first time laying flames! It's not perfect but it's a rattle can job and good enough for me on a rider not a show bike! haha:

Going to start reassembling the bike this weekend, rewiring, etc. and i'll update pics when it's all together and rollin down the road! I've only rode this bike 1 time and it was in the field of the old timer's place that I bought it from last summer. Once I got to my dad's shop it took a bit to get it started again.

I want to readjust the pushrods, and redo the timing on the distributor since I haven't touched it and the old timer hadn't rode it on the street since 2017. I will probably have a few questions on that since I haven't done that before! Been cruising the internet to absorb all the info I can on that process on these bikes.

      Looking pretty dang good ..

Have you thought any bout adding a bit more rake to the neck ...??
Old scoot would handle alot better if ya did ...
Not all that hard to do, some sawing and welding and you will be sporting a 38* rake in no time at all ..

As always, just a idea ..
Take my 45 and outrun em all ..

Thanks drag! I'm going to run it like this for a minute and see how it is this is a 8" over 35mm front end. It's gotta be better then my 10 over front end on a swing arm frame, but lately I have been really into a short length harley springer and tall bars too.

Might go after that set up since i've never had a bike set up like that when the weather turns cold again!

Gearing up to be done with this bike either this weekend or next. Couldn't be happier with how the chrome turned out!

Yeah it looks like a way brighter yellow under the LED lights, in the common overcast skies of Oregon it looks a bit darker like my first photo!

The color I had mixed up at the paint store is a dodge color called yellow jacket. I have just had black bikes in the past but wanted to do something a bit different (and brighter) haha!

Wrapped it up yesterday for the most part. Going do the timing and check the pushrods and it'll be on the road!
