    Electrical question....

I have a 2001 sportster and have been doing a little work on it myself.
I know I have done something wrong, but I don't know what.

    So it was working fine.
Then I changed the handle bars and exhaust.
I have hardtailed a couple of XS650's in the past and stupidly thought I would have no trouble with the Harley.

The bike now won't start. It did before.
The indicators now do not work they did before.
There is no spark at the plugs, I took off the wire and ground it out to the engine and nothing happens, no green sparks.

So I have done something, something is unplugged, but I don't know what.
The engine and frame are connected to the battery and come up as neutral.

To be honest I only just managed to find the fuses after searching for ages and they were fine nothing burned out.

    What have I done, wrong?

Some more info might be helpful. Is your wiring stock? I’m guessing stock if you couldn’t locate the fuses. Is it cranking? If you unplugged the handlebar controls, perhaps you plugged them back in to the wrong plugs?

You might need to do some digging for wire breaks in the areas you were working. Maybe something got nicked?

The wiring to the handlebar controls is easy to pinch when installing. I would start with removing them and trying to operate them in that condition.
