    Building another dam Urn

Little brother is loosing his battle with cancer and his wife wants a urn kind of like the one I did for my youngest son only with a Iron Head & cylinder or Shovel Head & cylinder. He rode both a lot.

So I'm asking for anyone that has cosmetically nice or easily repairable (preferably not useable) Iron head cylinder head and related parts or shovel to give me a holler. Since Stock hardly carbs are not that attractive maybe a broken S&S carb or???. lifter blocks for sure. The cylinder in Pat's urn was a machine shop oops and the sleeve was too crooked to use, but once re-plated looks fine.
Any suggestion's welcomed Right now I'm thinking of the same five pointed star base out of gunstock quality American Walnut.

I certainly hope it's the last one I have to build.
Come on people somebody has to have at least some of the parts I need to buy. Whatever shows up first decides between shovel and Iron Head. If he wanted Indian I could just walk down to the shop and grab enough to get started. A few broken fins wont hurt my feelings.

Dusty, I don't know how bad off your son is, But I have a cousin who
had multiple cancers ( melanoma & various organ cancers)
& chose to avoid the common chemotherapy approach, &
Instead opted to take a new immune therapy drug that drastically boosts immune
function to attack cancer cells. He wrote a book that covers His whole battle with
cancer, & How He made a complete recovery. The book is:
Melanoma Without a Cause by Bryant Wieneke
I would loan it to you but it is already on loan to a friend of mine who was just
          diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Also, modern science has proven that a neutral to slightly high alkaline diet ( PH level )
Is extremely beneficial in preventing cancer & battling cancer.
All Cancers thrive in an acidic environment (low PH )
All Cancers also thrive off of high sugar levels, & that includes alcohol which
          turns to sugar when metabolized.

So Dusty, put the Urn project on hold & read that book.

Son died in 2011when a dog ran out to chase the bike in front of him that's his urn. The one I'm building now is for my little brother who is already in home hospice. He had 5 or 6 stem cell transplants. over the last year.

This group has many old Ironhead builders who should have something ya can use:

This group is for those of us out there with a love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, specifically old Ironhead Sportsters made from 1957 - 1985. Not K-models, not EVO's, not IRONS, not 47's, not...

Gary at Iron Head Cycle is sending a cylinder and a head. I'm still looking for a rocker box, two pushrod covers, Lifter guides, intake manifold and a junk S&S carb any version.
