Manual solenoid on shovel
I am trying to install lever solenoid on76 fxe i also installed a Spyke starter I cannot retract bendex gear I have tried washers and it just wont go back. I have cut so can see operation

We can't see anything without pics. Without the levernoid can you manually move the Bendix back and forth with a screwdriver?
