Put on my "Tom Terrific" hat ...
Ya know ....
If you got one of those Grim Fuel Filters, they are made with a 1/8 npt inlet thread, ya could use a metal line all the way from the tank to the carb ....
Where I came from we called it custom made .. !!

The seat has a nice tear in it from the accident so I dropped the frame, fender, sissy bar and seat pans off at the upholsterer yesterday.
We talked about where I am going on the build and he is going to come up with some options. I HAVE to get some pics when I go to approve the seat design he comes up with, his fucking shop has not one, not two, but three hot rod coupes sitting there, along with a old Jaguar 120 series.
He offered me a deal on the '34 Chrysler he has, totally custom interior, he tried to win a Ridler award with it. Didn't quite make the grade, but it was definitely a contender. I was light on the 100k he needed.
Anyhow, I have decided to go with something of a Southwest theme to the bike so I will be interested with what he comes up with. He has to keep an overall black base to the seat since I want it to match up with the saddle bag. Too bad, he had some luscious looking brown leather leather there.
If you get bored and want to see some nice interior porn, check out Ogden Top and Trim's web site.Last edited by DoomBuggy; 01-28-2021 at 4:45 PM.

No lies, I sold some audio equipment and it has been in transit for a full month now, their resolution team is worthless as well.

I now have a new gas tank, my new frame, a new oil tank, and a different seat mounting setup. Time to part with what is left of the old OEM frame and the tins I had on it.
The paint on the tanks is still very nice although not perfect, the frame has lots of little nicks and such, plus a pretty good size mar where the mousetrap was mounted.
Keeping in mind that this frame A) has a slight bend in the backbone and B) saw years of abuse before I got it I am wondering what the works might be worth, ball park ranges $XXX to $XXX dollars type estimate. Here is what I would sell off.
So any thoughts? I'm not looking for top dollar, would just like to offset some of what I am putting into the rebuild.
Anyone????
Well it is over on ebay with a starting bid of $750.00 if anyone is intersted
And the answer is $1,050.00, he's happy and I have more room in the garage, win, win~!Last edited by DoomBuggy; 3 Days Ago at 12:36 PM.
