    new gadget from MORRIS Magnetos,

I just saw a new bit of kit from Dave at Morris Magnetos,
it's a small, key ring size gadget, that tests your plug leads to see if they are sparking or dead by simply holding it next to the lead. only about $30 so have ordered one,
they might be a common thing in the States but I've not see one in the UK before,
anyone here used them & are they any good,...... or have I just wasted my beer tokens ?
the add says it works on all Magneto's & regular ignitions.

I've got a similar tool from Champion Spark Plug that is shaped like a ball point pen and is at least 50 years old. It has a little neon(?) tube in it that flashes with the spark. Very handy.

Its an electrical “proximity “ tester.
I have one that’s built into the top of my small volt/ohm meter I carry in my bike tool bag.
