Depends on the type stop you will use. Some weld a small steel "knob" that a rubber bumper mounts onto that the KS will rest on when not used. Imagination will get you there
I have just cut off the original bumper and section of tube, then slice it I'm half and file it a bit until it sits against your new rear section tubing like 2 spoons I'm a drawer. Easy peasy
I had to extend my stand after installing 4" over tubes. I cut the kickstand mount and moved it up the rail so the end would be in the stock location just under the primary. The bumper was long gone after cutting the rear section, so just welded a rod to the stand (yes I'll be smoothing out that weld pile). It bumps up against the frame rail now, and I'll fashion a rubber cap for the rod.
