Default Karata Belt Drives out of biz?

So I was going to go with a rear belt drive kit from Karata for a 58-72 BT, swing arm, running disc brakes.

I got a kit from them for the same years, BT, rigid, running disc brake, about 15 years ago. It was a super quality kit, true bolt on, and ran as smooth as a evo rear belt drive.

Had some bank, decided to order another. Called a dealer out of Rockland Co NY: Seems Karata as a biz died. Anybody can confirm?

And does anyomne make rear belt drive conversion kits for pre rear belt drive from the factory BT's?

a real shame if they go completley,... I run a 3'' Karata set up on my Shovel, great quality, they did a hell of a lot of products, maybe a streamlined version will be back soon....

    Got a call back

    Female rep says:

Covid delays and health issues have back logged them

Some listed parts on thier web site are not, and most likely will not, be available in the future: In my case, the rear belt drive kit for older SA 4 speed models

They are looking at the dif email adresses on the current website

Too bad: The parts I have ordered in the past were high quality, easy install

    Hope they make it

I agree, I hope they pull through, good people & quality products,
I have a 3'' primary belt kit from them on my shovel & the quality is great,
I do remember last I looked at their site they did so much for so many models & use that I susspect they over reached & once they trim the product line that they will return better than before.
