Brian Laundrie’s dad mows lawn —ignores Gabby Petito autopsy inquiries

Brian Laundrie’s father was mowing his lawn — less than 24 hours after Gabby Petito’s autopsy revealed she was strangled.

Chris Laundrie ignored questions from reporters as he mowed and trimmed the grass around a makeshift memorial set up for Petito outside his North Port home.

Chris refused to react when asked about Petito’s autopsy results, which showed she was manually strangled (Which means she didn't strangle herself) during her ill-fated cross-country road trip with his 23-year-old son.

He also wouldn’t comment on his fugitive son, who has been the subject of a weeks-long manhunt after being named a person of interest in Petito’s case.

The Laundrie family’s attorney, Steven Bertolino, issued a statement Tuesday after the Wyoming coroner disclosed details of the autopsy, describing Petito’s death as “a tragedy.”

He added that the autopsy results didn’t change the fact that Laundrie is “only considered a person of interest” in the case.

Gabby Petito: Attorneys say first-degree murder charge likely after autopsy result .

First degree murder charges will never stick.
I wouldn’t talk to reporters either. They only turn against you using soundbites and clips of footage showing you in a bad light so I can’t blame him for that .

What a bummer if it turns out to be him, I was really hoping he’d end up the center piece in a swaztika laden aaryan spit roast during his tenure in the big house, eh you can’t win em all.

Remains found after Brian Laundrie's possessions located in Florida nature reserve

Apparent human remains found after Brian Laundrie's possessions located in Florida nature reserve
Laundrie, considered a person of interest in the Gabby Petito case, has been missing for five weeks.

Human remains were found in the same area as personal belongings of Brian Laundrie, Gabby Petito’s fiancé, who has been missing for over a month, officials said Wednesday.

A senior law enforcement official said that what appear to be partial human remains have been found in Florida's Carlton Reserve in a location that had previously been submerged.

There is no confirmation that the remains are those of Laundrie.

"Earlier today investigators found what appears to be human remains along with personal items, such as a backpack and notebook, belonging to Brian Laundrie," Michael McPherson, special agent in charge of the FBI's Tampa office, told reporters.

"These items were found in an area that up until recently had been under water," he said.

FBI officials confirm finding Brian Laundrie belongings, unidentified remains in Florida nature reserve
Laundrie's parents directed FBI agents and North Port police to the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park where "some articles belonging to Brian were found," Steven Bertolino, an attorney for the Laundrie family, said in a statement.

"Chris and Roberta Laundrie were at the reserve earlier today when human remains and some of Brian’s possessions were located in an area where they had initially advised law enforcement that Brian may be," Bertolino said in another statement Wednesday evening.

The local medical examiner and a K9 unit trained to find human remains were called to the scene, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

The Carlton Reserve and neighboring Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park are short drives north of the Laundrie family home. Parts of both areas are expected to be closed to the public "for several days" as investigators comb the area, McPherson said.

"I know you have a lot of questions, but we don't have all the answers yet," McPherson said. "We're working diligently to get those answers for you."

Laundrie is considered a person of interest in Petito's disappearance. An arrest warrant was issued after authorities said he used her debit card without permission.

Petito's body was discovered Sept. 19 at the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area in Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming; a coroner ruled her death a homicide by "manual strangulation." Petito had been dead for at least three weeks, the coroner said.

Petito and Laundrie were on a cross-country road trip, chronicling their travels on social media, before he returned to his parents' home in North Port, arriving Sept. 1 without his fiancée, police said.

'His silence speaks volumes': Gabby Petito's family speaks out in fifth week of search for Brian Laundrie
Laundrie’s parents have kept a low profile ever since, telling investigators that their son went hiking Sept. 14 and never returned, sparking a national manhunt.

    This is a developing story.

Guesses as to cause of death?

    Do we think it was:

    1) Hanging.
    2) Cut Wrists.
    3) GSW.
    4) Drug overdose.
    5) Other.
    6) It's not him.

Remains found Wednesday during the search for Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of slain travel blogger Gabby Petito and a person of interest in her death, have been confirmed to belong to Laundrie, according to the FBI.

The skeletal remains were found in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in North Port, Florida, a nature park that's been the center of the search for Laundrie.

Dental records were used to identify the remains, FBI Denver said.

"On October 21, 2021, a comparison of dental records confirmed that the human remains found at the T. Mabry Carlton, Jr. Memorial Reserve and Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park are those of Brian Laundrie," Amy Jewett Sampson, public affairs specialist for the FBI, said in a statement.

No word on the cause of death ...

    ... NO ...

    Here's what really sucks ...

So many questions that won't be able to be asked ..
Brian was never charged with murder ... Granted we all pretty much know he killed Gabby, need poof but it's substansial, only Brian could shed light on what did happen ...

The Dirty Laundrie' may have knowledge of the ill event, but ya know they aren't about to say anything, they're pretty good at keeping their mouths shut .... Perhaps in time they will come clean ..??

What happened to Gabby, who murdered her ??

    It smells rotten !!

One certainty is that the case has ended in tragedy for two families.

    Determining cause of death ...

Laundrie's cause of death could be challenging as authorities recovered only his skeletal remains and identified him through dental records, the FBI said.
Clemente, the former FBI profiler, told CNN that it's a possibility Laundrie could have been dead for the entire month authorities have been searching for him.

"It's going to be much more difficult to make a good, solid determination as to the cause and manner of death unless there's some kind of major, serious trauma to the skull that can be identified," Clemente explained.
"There might not be a way to determine how he died. If he drowned, for example, there wouldn't be any evidence of that on his skeleton."

As far as they know Brian's soft tissue is now Gator shit !!

The ironic twist here, is that if his parents had refused to help to begin with, him he would probably still be alive.

Default May be all wet with this thought ... ??

I'm thinking the boy was engulfed with remorse ..

After his temper tandem that resulted in ending Gabby's life he woke up to the fact that he took the life of someone that he dearly loved .. In his own way he was grieving the lost ..

Then he booked it home to say "Goodbye" to his family, since he knew what had to be done.
Couldn't live with the fact of what he did .. Only course of action was to end his own life ..

Ya know, this very well may have been his motive for his demise ??

I sure do have a wonder what he wrote in his notebook ..??

Hollywood most likely will make a movie documenting the timeline of all the events leading to the end .. ??
In a morbi way this would be like a "Romeo and Juliet" story ...

I am not familiar with Florida swamps, at all, but the news talked like they're pretty bad.

I guess in that area, there are alligators and wild pigs. They said the pigs will eat just about anything. Alive. Dead.. They do not care.

They sounded kind of surprised there was anything left to find?

    Ooh ... It's a jungle down here ..

Just the other day I had the back door of the shop open and saw a dragonfly packing a housecat ...
And the cat wasn't none to happy being airborne ..!!

I chalked it up to a flashback from my misspent youth in the 60's ....
(I'm not about to tell ya'll I saw Elvis the other night, driving a Pink 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood)

Look close at the cowl vent ... There's one of them huge Dragonflies !!
