1952 Pan motor build soon to be on the build table ...
Where in the #*@ are all these oldies coming from ??
(This one is from Miami and soon to be taking a trip North to my shop)
Owner said he wanted to Hot-Rod it some ...
(Oh Boy, here we go again)
Can't wait to see what he has in mind of doing ??
(And what we have to work with, 1952 was a long, long time ago, I know cause I'm also a 52 year model)

Was that the time you did a burnout on a customers bike heading to the Bunkhouse from Hogs & Heifers and when the motor officer told you you left twenty feet of rubber at the intersection you corrected him and told him it had to have been at least 30? (One of the few stories you are mentioned in in my book.)

Glad you're finding em entertaining ....
Should be seeing the 52 show up Saturday, Fella has a three hundred mile drive from South Florida to me ...
Talked a little with him this morning, without a doubt a stroker will be going in it ... Don't know about the rest of it, as far as what can still be usable till a teardown been done ...
Did find out that it's a FL and been chopped many years ago ...
Kinda hard to understand the Chap's speech, think he's from the Caribbean ... Cuba, Porta Rico. Jersey .. ??

Biker Geography 101- It's South of you , Jesse, has rainforests , volcanos n' shit. A funky place, with a beautiful city called Granada-thought I knew a song about that...but Wikipedia says it was written by a Mexican about the Spanish city of the same name. Apparently, the British colonised the Mosquito coast and the Spanish stole the rest.
Who'da thunk it? European bastards , eh?
SERIOUSLY- I am looking forward to this. I have a 51 ...Last edited by Hoghead; 08-08-2020 at 2:55 AM.

.. Lol .. ^^
Ok .... Who's going to grab up the "Deal of the Lifetime"
We decided to go to the 55-up spline shaft (Just like what was done to Jerimey' 51 Pan) so not much of this crank can be reused ... The whole crank is S&S 4-5/8" stroke with their rods, TRW .030" over stroker pistons been balanced .... I'm going to list the crank still together with the Jugs & Pistons "For Sale" as a package deal ... Fits 41 to 54 FL and EL , can go into the 36-40 EL's with a bit of a trim job done on the O.D. of the flywheels ... Get the cubes up to 87 inches ...
Don't look like it's seen a lot of run time ... Bores are nice and clean, although the front jug is a re-pop and the rear is Og for 52, rods are like day one ...
Now to put a price on this package deal .. ???

Welded up the 48-52 oil return ditch ...
With the new left case not having the ditch wasn't any need to keep the ditch on the right side case any more ...
Will be drilling new return holes in the new case ...
Shoot as long as I got the tig torch laid out might as well clean up an ugly spot ...

In that sack of parts will be a set of 48-52 Pan jugs that is supposed to be the same look as Oem ...
Can't wait to eyeball those critters ... !!
Flywheels will also be soon to have in hand ... Got a bit of special going on with having the L82-86 Huge taper with keyway on the sprocket shaft hole ..
Be awhile for the rods and the re-pop left side motor case ...
Still got a list of parts yet to nail down as in the cam, cam cover and some hardware ...
