    Buell Blast Bars

I'm using a Blast fork on my Paugho 45" project and I need the risers which seem to fit a 3/4" bar . Been Goggling but can't find them anywhere.

Thanks, yeah except that the mount on the fork trees is for 3/4" bars which are smaller than the typical 7/8" or 1" bars.

So you have the 3/4 handlebars but not the risers?

Sorry I guess I'm being confusing. Photo might help.

But, yeah I need risers that fit these odd 3/4" mounts and then standard 7/8" handlebars.

A picture is worth 1000 words.

You can either bore the existing handlebar mounts out to fit 7/8 diameter bars, or mill the mounts off the top clamp completely and drill holes to install a standard separate riser. Machining required in either case.

Could you run 3/4 stock in the existing mounts, then add dogbones on the outside? Might have to knurl the 3/4 end or use shims as suggested earlier.

Good ideas. I don't have tools to machine but I'll get it done. Thanks.

looks like the tree is flat on top or at least to the side of the riser. Saw/ grind /file those cast in risers down and drill a hole for risers like Jim said? Amazon has a good assortment of risers both inch and 7/8.

Turn a piece of 7/8" or 1" bar (depending on which risers and bars you have or want) down to 3/4" in the center so it resembles a barbell. Then Paint, Plate, powder coat, etc.

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing that or starting with a 3/4" bar and adding a shim or bushing, rather to make it fit 7/8" risers.
I'll put up photos of the project when I get a minute.

Cut center portion out of bars, weld in a section of 3/4" tubing in the center...?

The handlebars on a Buell Blast are 7/8". Get a piece of 7/8" tube with some 1" dogbone risers. You will need the 1" to 7/8" reducing sleeves to fit the dogbone risers to the 7/8" bar. Even easier, get a nice set of 7/8" bars, they look good on a 45.
Joker Machine makes this set yclegear.com/parts/joker-machine-78-metric-to-1-handlebar-adapters?gclid=EAIaIQobChMItKq23vSs8wIVh3xvBB07dwO aEAQYBCABEgL37vD_BwE&sku_id=941364

You can get a good deal on 1" dogbone risers from Throttle Addiction https://www.throttleaddiction.com/fl...SABEgIjcvD_BwE

A nice set of 7/8" bars will be a lot cheaper.
