What Happens if a Clutch Hub Bearing is Missing a Roller?

I was cleaning my garage this weekend, and I found a roller from my clutch hub bearing on the floor. My old one had the bearing in the cage and I replaced it with the full-length bearing, so the only conclusion is that I assembled it with one less roller than it should have (unless it came with an extra).

    What can happen?

I’ve had some recurring problems with the kicker jamming and wonder if this could be the cause because it’s happened with two different transmissions but the same clutch. Could this be the cause?

The "Big Fix" bearing kit does come with one extra roller ...

Ok, thanks. That makes me feel better. Still not sure why my kicker seems to jam sometimes. It was happening about half the time with an aftermarket 4-speed and is still often doing so with a Baker 6-in-4.

My belt is not too tight and it’s in alignment. The bike runs great. Doesn’t happen when I remove the spark plugs, so could it just be because the top end is new? I’ve burned about a tank of gas so far, so I maybe have 60 or so miles on it.
