ive got an 83 im about to do something with. not entirely sure what yet. strip the fuck out of it and hardtail i imagine.

the newer ones are way too bulky for my liking. even the early 80's are pushing it, but not nearly as bad as the later ones.

well ill try to keep you guys updated... im trying to find new triple trees the stock ones are very limited. and i still have to work out the fender deal... not to mention all the evap crap and the terrible air box ugh so much to do

so it looks like theres gonna be quite alot to do to get this bike even remotly streamlined. it has a drive shaft and i can extend the swing arm because of it. anyone know anything about converting it to a chain drive??

just found this online kinda of a good idea... i guess its time to put my bike out of commission for a while... or i can find an extra shaft drive with axle from a junk yard and i can fab it up...

ive run it the same problem with my intruder i guess if i had put more research into buying something eles i would have had less problems as for the shaft conversion its seems way out of my know how so fuck it i say give'em the shaft

what you mean you people... yeah i should have done a little more research on my ride but wtf i own it and im starting to like it, u guess im going balls to the walls on this thing... im gonna try and mount the fender tonight. ill put some pics up as well on the seat mount and other things *L*

I have a couple of Jap bikes that I am doing the cafe racer thing with. A 1975 CB550 Honda and a 1978 SR500 Yamaha. They make cool cafe bikes as well as bobbers and choppers....
