2 into 1 Shovel exhaust Question
Hey guys, I swapped the long drag pipes I have been running for the last year with a 2 into 1 set up. Really stoked on how it looks. However I noticed when I bought them they are two pieces. The rear cylinder pipe is short and just falls into the wider opening that the longer front cylinder pipe has.
I kicked my bike over and it started right up. I put my hand down where the pipes meet and felt a lot of air coming up through this area. Am I supposed to seal this up somehow? This is my first 2 into 1 set up so I apologize if it's a dumbass question. Just would like some advice on it :-) thanks!

Ideally, that slip joint would be a close fit, but most aftermarket parts leave something to be desired. You can use high temp silicon sealer, but be neat about it. It will last for a while.
