    Breaker Location

Building my first bike and don’t know where to put the electrical breakers/fuses. I am using an airbag seat with an onboard compressor mounted under the transmission. I can’t put them in the battery box that’s located in the pill style oil bag. I was thinking maybe mounting them to the motor plate. Can I get help with other options. Click image for larger version

Does your gas tank have a tunnel? If there’s room you might fan up something to go in there like the Softails have.

Dont know what type of headlight you are using but if it has a good size bucket that would be my choice . Where ever you decide, keep away from exhaust pipes and try to pick a Location that is easy to access.good luck

I picked up a small fuse block from: http://www.cycleterminal.com/mp280-fuse-box.html
And attached with an aircraft P Clamp

Past horrible decisions suggest that the higher the better! One mounted at transmission level filled with water riding in a thunderstorm and wet roads left me on the side of the road way longer than I wanted to be in a thunderstorm.

Casey Jones you better, watch your speed
            Trouble ahead, trouble behind
And you know that notion just crossed my mind

I’m thinking if I use the fuse block that IowaChop recommended I can fit it in the oil bag with an anti gravity 8 cell battery

See if you can fit it above the battery. Through experience, it’s easier when you don’t have to remove the battery ( as long as it doesn’t impede battery removal.
