    Default Engine Case Ground Straps

inching my way through this 1988 sportster build, today is wiring harness.

I have a full harness from "The Sportster Treatment", pretty clean!

I am going to run an Dynatec 2000i ignition to eliminate the ECM/ICM whatever it is, and want to run a single fire system, on a single fire coil.

Dynatec sent me a "message Please note the D2KI-1P has no external ground wire, so it is critical that the engine cases have proper ground straps to the chassis and battery negative post for the D2KI-1P to work as designed."

This is my first ground up build. I get the battery is gonna get grounded to the frame, how does one "Ground" and engine case?

    Thanks friends

You will note on those XLs that the battery negative cable fastens to the top left rear motor mount bolt. So, that takes care of motor and frame ground at the same time.
