This link should give you a parts break down.

Awesome thank you for the site. The clutch will be in today. What kind of oil do y'all suggest to soak the plates in and also what kind do you suggest to use to fill the primary with? Is the primary only a quart on a 95 Sportster? The manual says that but it does not seem like its enough. I am going to have to wait till I can order a socket to get the pulley off to inspect the splines.

There are XL-specific primary/transmission oils, and you should use one of those.

Fill to the bottom of the clutch shell, and yes, one quart is enough.

So, what was the final solution?

Still working on it. I didnt get to do anything yesterday with it. So today I will try to get the clutch removed and see how that looks. The new clutch is out for delivery right now and I just ordered the socket to remove the pulley so that will be a few days before I attempt that.

We have rain coming so I wont be touching this again till Saturday. In the mean time I am trying to find someone to come look at that knows what to look for.

So i put the new clutch in. I got the Barnett extra disc clutch kit and everything seems to be good to go. I went for a little spin the the road and back and it shifted through all the gears with no issues. I didnt get to checking the splines on the drive pulley but i will after i install the springer i bought lst month. Thank you all for all your help.
