This is bullshit
So I'm hearin clankety clank clank coming from somewhere and it appears that 22yrs & millions of miles at warp speed have degraded the heim joints on the ol' shifter linkage. Having freakishly strong muscle mass even flicking the shifter with my left toe must put a couple hundred ft lbs of torque on the linkage and that can't help. Sucks to be me I guess.....
So....get new heim joints??
Get a new tough guy 14lb billet linkage with skulls or the Ride to Live bullshit?
Leave it alone and wait for it to fall off during a 7500rpm 2nd gear upshift.....
Please give me guidance.......Last edited by Bbqbiker; 05-26-2020 at 12:01 PM.

Don't you ever lubricate anything? After i've finished with my household servants arseholes, I make sure I have enough lube left for my bikes, Mwuhahha! (evil Brit laughter)

Surplus aircraft rod ends fit because HD uses 'Murrican threads. They're cheap via Ebay. I used them with the stock rod on my FXR because the rod ends on those are just chromed riding mower parts.
However I voted torch the motor so I can enjoy the rebuild thread.
Alternate option after missing the shift, bolt in a stroker slabside FauxPan to REALLY confuse onlookers.Last edited by farmall; 05-26-2020 at 5:10 PM.

Maybe you could bring it to your "motor Jesus " and wait 5 years for it to be done like both your bikes there, you know the ones you tossed 3 grand on only to be forgotten for years so when its done they want 5 more grand, you know yuppie overpriced engaged.
Yerp id drop that off and wait 5 months for the quick fix, hell they will give you a deal 500 to fix.
Wait what decade did you drop your motor off
It cost what, damn they charged you storage
U should by some shit from bison you stupid fuck

LUBE? What heresy is this? Servants gifted such luxuries will grow entitled and make off with the silverware. Let 'em bite the pillow like their ancestors. If they behave exceptionally well, reward them with a nice snack.

I know, I know.. My arms ache from handing out floggings, even smiling at their suffering makes my face ache. If these miserable peasant scum don't stop vexing me I shall cancel Christmas.
