whats up guys just a heads up im helping redo my buddys 85 vt500 chopper, im just stumped on a few things that are not giving spark, also its only running one cdi box instead of two like the stock setup, can anyone shed light if im able to run the one cdi box or should i run both after rewiring?

you should be running both. From what I understand each cycle has its own CDI hence 2. if the bike running one somehow I couldn't imagine it was running run
