Identify brakes?
I need to rebuild these brakes. How do I find out what parts to get?

looks like the caliper has been adapted to a different mount, which is not perpendicular to the axle.
Kinda looks like one from a '74 -'77 XL AND FX;

Download all the factory parts catalogs from that era you can find for reference, ditto the factory service manuals.
That way you'll have overhaul instrictions, exploded views, part numbers. The Carl Salter site and Facebook Harley PDF Manual Trade & Share group will have what you need.

And the master cylinder is an '81 - '95 H-D. You will have to check the bore size before ordering a kit, but most of those were 3/4, and that would be the correct size for the caliper you have. (You could get away with an 11/16 bore, but anything smaller probably won't function properly with that caliper.)
Since it's a custom installation, a different caliper choice might be the wise move. From the pic that one does not look to be located properly on the rotor (but the pic could be deceiving).

Thank youse. This is on my '60 extended Servi. I got it to run and go with a Mikuni carb, but not stop! Rear juice brakes need work too.

The original rear master cylinder for that Servicar was a single stage automotive master cylinder that I think had a 1" bore. The master cylinder in your picture is NOT going to work with drum brakes.
A little Mikuni is a good choice for a 45. I work on a '73 for a customer, and it has a little round slide Mikuni, and it starts instantaneously and runs sweet.

That rear M/C is just what is on there. Why wouldn't it work?
This is the one 45Restoration sells:
Doesn't look much like a car M/C to me.

The reasons your existing rear master cylinder will not work:
1) It doesn't have enough volume to run two wheel cylinders.
2) Since it is a disc brake master cylinder, it does not have a residual pressure valve that is needed for a drum brake system.
The good news is that with the proper parts, you will be able to sort the rear brakes easily.

I made a splice from the stock single wire cable to the stranded cable for the Mikuni but it doesn't work too well.

Cleaned up the front brake parts and they work now too. Ready for a test drive!
