Marty Smith 1956-2020

Well I'll admit Marty Smith was one of My heroes, Along with guys like
Roger DeCoster, & Bob Hannah. These guys got Me into MX racing back in
the late '70's I would say Marty Smith was the most iconic rider in American
History based on the impact He made on the sport in America in those early day
of American Motocross.

Damn that's tragic , his wife killed at the same time?!

yeah, His wife died along with Him. Dune buggy flipped over, Their two
friends survived, And tried to save them. a real tragedy, They have
3 children, not sure what age, but that's got to be a devastating blow to them.
