Finally, CBX chop in mock up form

Well, after screwing around with this scratch build for more than a year I finally got the damn thing in mock up form. I shot some rattle can paint on to simulate the color scheme it will have after being painted properly. I plan to put a few miles on it while the weather is still good here and then in the winter tear it down, make necessary changes and get some real paint, powder and chrome.
It didn't come out bad considering I made it with all hand tools, scrap bike parts and scrap metal scrounged up from all around. Measures 12 foot tip to tip.

These pics were the first time I pushed it outside. You can see the wires still hanging and no chain. I'll shoot some final pics and a video this weekend.

That thing looks fast sitting still! IMHO I would powder the fork black to break up all that chrome, upfront is such a huge contrast to the rest of the bike.

Foot pegs? I would have just used the pipes like floor boards!

To me the bars look like they could use a little pull back to fit the flow a little more.

if there was a vtwin in that frame it would be gay as fuck. but with that 6cylinder it is killer.

Thanks fellas for looking in here.

I have a long way to go still to finish this. Gonna ride it in mock up form to work the kinks out for the rest of the season.

On the topic of the bars: They pull back really far actually. When I am sitting my back is straight up and I can comfortably reach and turn those bars without leaning forward. So even more pull back would be impossible.

Fuck, that is one BAD ASS looking motor. I dig it, a lot.

You should fab up some kind of footboards for on top of all those pipes, hahaha

The CBX motor is legendary, and you did it justice. Are those individual butterfly backpressure valves I see in the pipes?
