DNA Springer not lining up with center bolt

    Hey everyone.

So I finally got back to building my 77 Ironhead.

However, while installing the DNA Springer, the center bolt does not line up inside of the top tree clamp (sorry for my ignorance on terminology).

The neck has not been altered/raked, the springer is a -2 under DNA springer and is brand new. I’m also using the TC Bro’s 7/8 to 1 conversion kit.

I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this?

If you flipped it 180 degrees (top triple tree) is it the same spacing/tight on one side?

How is the neck fit into the bottom tree, at the bottom of the neckpost?

Is it a press fit at the botttom?
        is it welded in?
is it held with a setscrew?

can you spin the neckpost around 180 degrees?

Take if off the bike and check to see if the neckpost is square to the bottom tree (the part the bottom of the neckpost fits into).

did your 1" kit include a new neckpost?
If buildin' old school choppers was easy, anyone could do it... ain't nobody said it's gonna be easy...
