Explore forecasts of COVID-19 cases, deaths, and hospital resource use.

I look at my state and compare it to the state DHS website, (https://coronavirus.in.gov/) and the first thing I notice is the total deaths are close.. But the rate is wrong. Looking at deaths per day, there is no spike? Also the "area of uncertainty" makes a weather forecast seem laser precise by way of comparison.

I have also read they are missing the mark on the hospitalization rate by a good margin in several states.

It would appear something is about to change, bigly..

Either this thing (daily deaths) ramps up big time, or we have a major divergence from the projection and the whole thing spins itself out.

I have a hunch it will be the latter, but there's no way to be certain. I can see why the professionals are concerned. You just can't spitball with projections that high.

But still, where I live there is no spike yet? Not even an indication we're on the leading edge of one?

So.. We'll find out shortly how good these models really are.
They can be suspect-UK figures only show hospitalised infections and deaths-excluding care homes for the elderly, where they are dying in droves.

Strange that we dont have any shortage of anything here in our poor, tiny socialist hellholes. Nor any actual lockdowns..

The co vid virus is not as big a threat as the talking heads are saying it is.
Do You even notice how Not even One of Them are EVER wearing a Mask on those televised
            "corona virus task force" Meetings?
And that Mr Fouchi always seems to be
in such a good mood as He Tells You How the World must be locked down &
everyone should wear masks.(almost like a hidden smile on His mug, that You can see if You pay
            attention).
Of course, I would be happy Myself.... If I were Him, or His pal Bill Gates, As I watch the true
            agenda unfold with extreme delight.
While the scared Sheep are watching the fake case numbers, The Gates Foundation (which includes
Mr Fouchi on board of directors), are planning the next phase of Their Depopulation scheme, Which
consists of the real threat, A DNA altering injection that includes a micro chip.
They will likely succeed because the People are so dumbed down now They will not investigate
the The real corruption behind the Gates Foundation and Their past history of Genocide in other
Countries, under a guise of helping Humanity.
And Let's not forget Mr. Gates infamous quote during a seminar that was covering Over Population,
& Climate Change, Upon stating that the World's population is heading up to 8 Billion People, He
boldly states: "Now If We do a really good job on VACCINES, & Health Care, We can lower that
number perhaps 10 to 15 PERCENT" If You can do simple math, You will arrive at a number that
far far exceeds any deaths (real or scammed) of this "corona virus".
And just take a look at mr Gates face on almost any interviews of Him, He has that devilish
smile on His mug, As He talks about the "pandemic" and How many are going to die.
And yet, Many of the masses are locked up in their Homes, waiting for This Man's "Cure"
to become available. It is complete insanity, Yet completely acceptable by a Population that
has been completely brain washed, Dumbed down, & Indoctrinated to a point of reaching a state
of Idiocracy, Actually a Technocratic Idiocracy when You add mr Gates' "id2020 Alliance" into
the equation, With It's new Micro Chip technology that He and His cronies are trying to ram through
the System, Using Fouchi and other key players as tools to see It through.

Let me say, politics aside, that this virus is no joke. My wife tested negative--that was three weeks of general horror. Alone from feeling sorry for her, it took about two weeks after she went in for flu tests for me and our toddler to show symptoms. So check off all the boxes, we had the symptoms--EXCEPT for high fever--even that was questionable, at one point the boy had 106F. Lost sleep, coughing until 1am for my wife, THEN the boy would start. I didn't sleep more than 4 hours the first two weeks of the quarantine. Then I got sick, I'm asthmatic. Finally we did get the negative results back after all our symptoms subsided, that took three weeks for all of us.

Six weeks into quarantine (started in early march after she got sick with the flu) I go back to work after being deemed "essential" at the shit plant. NOBODY is wearing a mask. The logic is "we're not public."
So you have guys in one of the most disgusting petri dishes besides a slaughterhouse/hospital vain enough to ignore their: chronic heart failure. Diabetes. Kids. Kids with disabilities.
I'm the only one that's been wearing a mask and we're looking at 2 more weeks of quarantine. I don't know what it'll take, some guys that won't wear a mask have been sick more than two times with covid symptoms.

How The Coronavirus Has Affected The 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

By James Michael Moody on April 27, 2020 0

Very big decisions had to be made by the Sturgis City Council, on rather to host or cancel the 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally scheduled for August 7 through August 16. Because of the widespread COVID-19 pandemic, several important issues had to be addressed to insure a fun safe successful rally by all.

First and foremost, would the worlds largest motorcycle rally put a burden on the City of Sturgis, local residents, area health care workers, and health care services. The second big question was, would the bikers show up? Since the March coronavirus shutdown, nearly every corporation in the US has greatly reduced travel and trade shows. Even if the shutdown ended today, it is going to take some time before interstate traveling gets anywhere near back to normal. Thus, rally promoters already know attendance by major corporate exhibitors, and small vendors, will be down.

At the same time, event promoters well understand the outcome if they cancel this years rally. Area business owners are cash strapped and if the states largest and most profitable event is canceled, there will be lots of closures to community restaurants, hotels, gift shops, and hospitality industries. Area residents would also feel the financial crunch. Believe it or not,i half of the town's population work the rally in some form or another. On top of that, if rally vendors don't get to work. They may never be able to afford to come back to next years event. That in turn continues the financial crises into the following year.

Promoters have to consider if the state of South Dakota is capable of dealing with a large number of visitors, and how many of those will be importing the coronavirus. Will the Black Hills area hospitals have enough doctors, nurses, ambulance crews, available ICU beds, and ventilators. Are there enough law enforcement willing to come and work security at such a large public gathering? What about Fire Departments?

There is currently, as of this writing, 2,147 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in South Dakota with 1,223 of those listed as recovered. The state daily is seeing a decrease in infections. Sunday there were 33 cases reported, and 33 cases reported Monday. The only real coronavirus hot spot is in Sioux Falls in Mennehaha County were the Smithfield Foods plant is located. There has been more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases tied to that business.

Rally coordinators are also keeping a very close watch on the coronavirus spread in Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Those are the states that make up 50% of the Black Hills rally attendees.

In neighboring Rapid City counsel members are meeting to discuss loosening some COVID-19 restrictions on businesses. This is not a back to work as normal policy. Instead, there is a long list of requirements that opening business must agree to go by until the end of May. Distancing and cleanliness lead the list.

The Sturgis City Council has a lot of feedback to obtain from state and city governments, sponsors, retail businesses, motels, campgrounds, restaurants, gas stations, residents, rally attendees, and the list goes on. All these big to-dos and information gathering, in very unstable pandemic conditions, with a small window of time, is quite a challenge. After this information is gathered and sorted, the council will regroup on June 15th and take a vote to determine the rallies 2020 future.
