flatman .... You ready to go after that Indian Scout ... ???
I only hope that the 45 goes that fast! LOL! Should be a good motor. Just gotta put the finishing touches on the chassis, oil lines, wire it up, carb manifold, and get the repop exhaust to fit. Last repop exhaust took quite a bit of cutting welding and grinding to fit, maybe it just needs drag pipes. All the crap going on probably wont get it done till beginning of summer. WLA on the warpath! Hopefully it will go faster than 55mph.
I like those. Gumby head cams. What the hell are those to? Gotta be sporty? Never seen a set of Gumby heads so radical. Even Shunks. I laughed at the nickles, ya gotta remember they got INDIAN heads on the reverse side! LOL
Jessie, I don't think I ever mentioned it in our conversations, but I kind of have a thing for the old Indians, thanks in part to my Grandfather. He had a full repair/ body/ machine shop in rural Minnesota. Did full restorations on numerous old cars and such that were all driven or ridden on a regular basis. Matter of fact, he did some work for Ralph Engelstad on one of Hitler's original staff cars that was in the Imperial Palace collection. Reason I am bringing this up in this thread is that he had the first bike I was ever allowed on. The 1916 Indian Powerplus (with factory side car and carbon fuel headlight you see in the photo attached. (the man in the photo was my grandfather who restored it.) If I ever strike it rich I WILL find and own this bike.
Jesse got the cams today (Monday) and they look GREAT! Thank you, outstanding work, couldn't ask for anything better. I suck at pics usually got to get help. Yep, one of those guys who still has a flip phone, LOL!
