    Default Democrat Primary.

I think this race is Bernie's to lose..

Amy Klobochar (or whatever) excites nobody. She's not a leader. Nobody can see her sitting down with Putin or Xi, let alone beating Trump on a debate stage. I dunno why she's still in the race, to be honest about it?

Joe Biden is cratering and it will only get worse. He is exactly the scenario that led to the 25th Amendment.

Mayor Pete is a Mayor of a failed city and black people hate him and treat him akin to stepping in dog poo. The black vote isn't optional if you are a democrat. You can't just wave it off. You gotta have it and you got to have a lot of it. Nobody woke up today and said to themselves: "You know, I really wish the rest of the country looked more like South Bend Indiana..."

Mike Bloomberg may not be very well known on the left, but he is on the right. This guy is everything they said Trump was, times approximately 61 Billion. He's an arrogant, cosmopolitan, snob. A total, flaming hypocrite. An authoritarian asshole.. <- And those are his good qualities. Once he gets vetted? It's OVER. Even his mom wouldn't vote for that jackass. Joe Biden has a problem with "gaffes" Which are mistakes one makes while speaking. Bloomberg has the opposite problem - He's a fucking asshole and it shows every time he speaks.. There is no mistake here, just his base personality coming out.

Liz Warren is like some leathery winged creature from Jurassic Park that lands on the hood of your car and makes high pitched noises at you through the windshield. She's a serial liar and a hypocrite, and she's too entwined with Industry and Finance for a lot of dem base voters. She is also nuts. Her most recent proposal was (serious!) to find a Transgender Child and give them veto power over her education secretary. This is probably a good strategy if you want to be President of Twitter. But she can't beat Trump.

And that leaves Bernie Sanders. And Bernie Sanders will become unstoppable once Liz drops and he consolidates the lion's share of her support.

From where I sit it looks like a pretty accurate description of the pack.

Before I go to far I want to hear "Little Mike" on stage, does he come off as a dufus, will he release his taxes, is he Trump 2.0 or the Anti-Trump. That is to be seen.

I don't know enough about Mayor Pete, he ran for and won an election in an already failed city, did he make it any better or worse, that is the question. I don't think he is ready for prime time, but then the younger white, educated voters love him almost as much as Bernie.

Your depiction of Warren is so spot on I actually laughed out loud here in the office, got lots of looks too, lol.

And Bernie, well most of what he says will never make it through congress, even if the Dems were to win both houses. The real question is can he hold his own against Trump?

I agree with you about Bernie's policies.. Most of them will be DOA regardless who runs Clowngress.

Which kind of begs the question: Why are they so scared of him?

Conventional wisdom holds that they're scared he'll lose.. But if they hate his policies so bad and think they're so toxic, why would they care?

That was supposed to be what happened with Trump, and the party establishment announced they would "rebuild" the party following his disastrous loss to Hillary.

I think they're scared he will win.

Democrats have zero respect for Donald Trump. I mean, none. They think anyone can beat him, any day of the week..

So.. What's the deal with Bernie?

    I think they fear:

    1) Hearing a President espouse these ideas on the world stage.. The dem establishment are a bunch of hypocrites. They talk about "income inequality" and the plight of the working Joe, but they aren't about to redistribute their own wealth to make it happen. No Way.

    2) Hearing Bernie harp about this for 4 years will expose them as phonies who talk a good game, then pay their base in PEZ when it comes time to make policy.

Pretty much. Functioning democracies have more than two parties but Americans are gullible, stupid, ignorant and fiercely proud of it so Demublicans and Repocrats will ratfuck third parties to mutual benefit then fight each other on social issues while eating lobbyist anus.

Because all but five or six (and I'm not sure about the other four or five) Americans don't think analytically and vote by emotion like teenage girls we get what we get. Our public hate doing their civic duty to be informed on domestic and foreign issues.

Our government sucks because most of the American people CHOOSE to suck. They know how every hair on their favorite football players scrotum is aligned and/or memorized the Kardashians life history but resent the idea they should take interest in serious subjects.

I don't agree with Sanders but the Demublicans (their history is much more than current events) HATE any threat to their power structure at least as badly as the GOP hated Trump before he won and they fought to mob his knob.

I am enjoying the circular firing squad Bernie's got a little momentum and he has a path to the nomination and Bloomberg wants the rest to drop out so he can get enough delegates to keep up with Bernie.

Bernie as a nominee is a nightmare come true for the dumbocRATS they hate him. I am unenrolled in my state so I'm going to vote for him.

As much as I'd love to see Trump destroy my fake Indian senator Pocahontas who unfortunately has a 1/1024 chance of winning the White House which is the same ratio as her Cherokee blood. HA!

Trump versus Bernie is going to be great

The debates were a joke, a circus complete with a clown lineup. I tried to watch it simply because I was curious how Bloomfuck would carry himself, but only made it less than 30 minutes. None of them have a chance in hell.

We watched the whole thing. I actually liked it, because it was the first time there was any real aggression.

Dem debates are so boring because they're filled with passive/aggressive crap. Someone says: "While I respect Senator X, I disagree that.. Blah, blah.. ankle bite.. blah, blech, blah.. My Friend.. Blah. "

Last night was like a Republican debate, where there's blood on the floor afterwards. A real show. I bet MSNBC was thrilled, because these things normally suck so bad and put everyone to sleep. Everybody did a pretty good job, considering prior performances. Even Aunt Amy shanked a few people. lol!! It was great!

Bloomberg is obviously a sore spot for them all. I think Bernie legitimately resents him and it showed. That is the most animated I've ever seen him in a debate. The others resent him effectively buying the #2 spot and the DNC changing the rules to let him on. He's clearly more formidable than Tom Steyer.

But I can't believe he'll pass vetting. Last night was just the tip of the iceberg. They say Trump is a puppet of Russia? He isn't, but Bloomberg IS a puppet of China. Trump used some locker room talk in a private conversation with Billy Bush once? Bloomberg says horrible things in public, proudly. Etc, etc.. If they don't like Trump? It is going to be damn hard to make a case for Mike. He's everything they claim Trump is times a hundred.

Still it was a good show. I don't think anyone really hurt themselves, but I don't know if there was a clear winner? Bloomberg had a good debut, considering the level of incoming he had to dodge. Mayor Pete and Bernie probably split top honors. If there's a loser, it is probably Joe. He kinda fell apart at the end again and got lost, after a pretty good showing out of the gate. Liz got a few zingers in there, but Bernie overshadowed her big time and looks like the stronger candidate for the progressive lane. Aunt Amy played the girl card, which deserves to be met with groans at this point.

Bernie is blowing the doors off the rest of the field in Nevada.

    Not even close.

Only around 10% of delegates are taken compared to Super Tuesday. It is still anyone’s ball game.

I have to say that I think Bernie's got it.. He's the only one with anything resembling a platform besides: "I'm not Donald Trump."

Warren is kind of a Bernie mini-me, and with baggage. Why vote for her when you can have a stronger candidate in Bernie?

Mayor Pete is an eloquent establishment pick, completely unconcerned with average people.. and it shows.

Even if Joe Biden beats Trump, he won't beat the 25th Amendment. Does he even know where he is half the time?

Tom Steyer has been blowing millions in the Southwest (particularly Nevada) since Trump won.. He was on TV when I was on vacation out there, screaming about impeachment. He dumped 16 million bucks into Nevada, and they spit in his face last night. That guy has worn out his welcome.

I really think Aunt Amy is only allowed into the debates now because she brings cookies.

Michael Bloomberg is running as "The Empire" from Star Wars.

I don't see anyone who can beat Bernie at this point?

Still, it is interesting for us politics watchers..

So Bernies got the momentum going into the convention. What happens when the DNC manipulates the outcome or brokers the convention to keep The Bern out a second time? I'm wondering if therel is a yet known candidate that will surface and will make a brokered convention necessay.? Either way I don't see the party remaining intact.

I don't even know when the last brokered convention was? But, the premise would have to be unity.. Or else why did everyone bother to vote in the first place?

I don't know anyone who can do that? Bloomberg can't. Hillary sure as hell can't.

Maybe Michelle Obama? I can't think of anyone else the whole party would unify around.

And if there's no unity, they can "broker" as long as they want to.. But nobody will show up to vote. So now you lose and you've pissed EVERYONE off to boot.

I think the big wildcard for Dems this year is the second ballot. If Bernie can't make it on the first vote, then the "Super Delegates" (lol.. How "democratic" is THAT?) are in play, and they will have tremendous sway.

Bernie walks in with the most votes cast and the most delegates and you have a Trump situation. Do you take it away from him? On what grounds and in favor of whom? And if you do, how do they win the general?

Bernie's Bros will stay home. Everyone will be pissed. It just looks like a loser.

I think it would be better for the dem establishment to shut their mouths and honor the will of their constituents, and go with Bernie no matter what if he's got the most support.

Then, if he loses, they can spank the Bernie Bros and the AOC types forever over it. They still bring up McGovern. They could whip them with the ghost of Bernie's loss forever.

But I don't think they're really scared of a loss. I think they're worried he will win and they'll all be exposed as total hypocrites and self dealing charlatans when he says: "Okay.. We've been talking about income inequality for a long time.. Let's raise taxes on the rich by a lot!" Etc, etc, etc..

They'll have to shut him down, and that will destroy the Democrat party as we know it, oust their elites and lead to a complete realignment of conventional wisdom in the American electorate.

And they can't come back from that, and they know it.

The dumbocRATS are totally fucked..They were supposed to be unified behind one candidate that could "take out Trump" but instead you have 7 candidates with Bernie as the front runner blowing away the fake news media narrative of Biden having the most electability and inevitable (just like cuntface!)

    And then people voted.....

As it stands now with Bernie getting 20 to 30 to 40% of the vote he will get the lions share of the delegates while the rest of the losers fight over scraps Bernie will continue to pad his lead and be unstoppable for the nomination

Remember everyone that is in an open primary or caucus state go ahead and pull the lever for Bernie fuck the DNC and fuck the Democrats Trump will stomp Bernie into a oblivion get the popcorn ready

If you think I'm crazy then make a case for your candidate and how they're going to get the nomination and what will happen when they face the Trump machine

Confab......a Michelle-Hilary ticket would be the only thing I could imagine that would come out of a brokered convention. And the second will be worse then the first!

BBQ....If they stay the course and run Bernie up then they have positioned themselves for a loss which puts it in to the hands of Nancy and her minions as long as they hold enough seats......it's a shit cake no matter how you slice it!

Bloomberg is basically now confirming that he's in the race to take Bernie out.

    His senior adviser on CNN:

CNN “New Day” host Alisyn Camerota asked O’Brien if the gloves are going to come off in the Democrat debate later in the day.

According to O’Brien, something has changed since he previously said publicly the Bloomberg campaign will not feud with other Democratic candidates, telling Camerota the Sanders campaign has been acting “thuggish” and “Trumpy-like.”

“Bernie has gone through this campaign without being held accountable,” he stated. “He hasn’t been vetted as thoroughly by the media as some of the other candidates. Other Democrats on the stage hadn’t challenged him on the debate stage as much as they have challenged each other, and Bernie has a very trippy record, to say the least.”

“We’ve got a candidate who has risen in the polls because of this track record,” O’Brien added. “Bernie has all of this loopy stuff in his background, saying things like, you know, women get cancer from having too many orgasms or toddlers should run around naked and touch each other’s genitals to insulate themselves from porn?”

Oh, wow.. Bernie better hope this isn't true.

I don't know how you come back from that?

Anybody watch the Dem debate last night? It was wild. Like a bar scene in a spaghetti western.

Right off, the tables all got flipped over and they started shooting at Bernie.

But, when the smoke cleared? He was still there. Spitting tobacco juice and bitchin' about them Owlygarwks..

I dunno if there was an actual "winner" Bernie didn't have his best night, but he didn't hurt himself. Mayor Poof was even more eloquent and insurance-salsey than usual. (And he sets a pretty high bar in this regard.) And Bloomberg is doing better than the MSM is giving him credit for. He looked like the adult on that stage and he acted the part, too.

But Mike and Pete lack a vision. Regardless what you may think of it, only Bernie seems to have that.

Everyone else was Clown. Tom Steyer in particular looked like he was methed up. Biden fell apart at the end again. That guy shouldn't have a driver's license, let alone the nuclear launch codes.

I wonder how they fit them all back in the VW?
