    Haha!

I've got to dial the carb in, my pipes are super long and it's till not running 'perfect' but that's on my to do once she's going. A wise gent who was a mentor to me said, 3rd gear, you should go to forth, stay third, and then turn high speed in a click at a time, when it stumbles back out until it's smooth and then set low speed!

    So will do that.

Simply didn't have the shouldered washer under the low speed needle. I missed it. I had one here from my M74. Sorted all the issues I had. Ran without, just needed to be RICH!

Epic! So it was more than just the intake leak?
"Toshi" didn't find the missing washer?

No, the bike was running and riding fine. Only reason I questioned was how rich it needed to run, again, not unheard of, and the sneeze between low and high trasnition. Turns out it was that. It's installed and running as intended now!

Thought I'd quickly update! Not been able to login for an age.

Knuck is now in it's 3rd and final iteration. Pic above. Managed to find and restore a nice pan wideglide, using shovel trees as my old frame needs all the help it can get with rake. Bought and cut some shotguns to fit properly, found an old bates which I've cleaned up. the M74 is running the bike like a champ as well. Also put a new front rim on, I bought two prior to this one both buckled.
