CV Carb air intake bolts/thread size?

I just received a Mooneyes adapter plate to get their louvred air cleaner onto a CV carb. It didn’t come with bolts and obviously the stock ones are way too long as they go through the stock filter.

Anyone know what bolt/thread size goes into the air inlet on a CV carb?

Just done some Googling... 1/4-20, does that sound right?

Got a hardware store near you? Take the stock bolts, put them in a gauge, buy the appropriately sized bolts while you're there.
