I went to put on a belt on my Panhead Chopper and it wouldn’t fit by about half a tooth so I figured something was messed up somewhere considering that no good turd burglar Davestune sold me this piece of shit and the frame ended up being a problem since I guessed it was owned by evil Knievel at some point doing jumps frame was cracked and re-welded and generally fucked up. I’m sure Davestune had nothing to do with the condition of the frame he just pawnedit off on me and dicked me over and then took out a life insurance policy on me is that what a friend does?

Fuck him I hope he gets aids and Ebola and shits himself

Before you buy a new one you really need to find out why it isn't working.................. Because it should fit.........

            Best of luck....

Truer words were never spoken. If you are going to ride old iron, you better know something about it or have deep pockets to pay someone who does.

Have you tried pulling the clutch hub, placing the belt on the front sprocket and clutch basket, then offering the set to both shafts at once like a chain primary?

Remember trying to push a belt over one sprocket while it's already on another may not work because of belt length.

                      Trying costs nothing.

                        That's what I suggested above.

How are you installing the belt? Hopefully not while the two pulleys
are bolted to the bike, because there's no way the belt is going to go on.

You need to have the front pulley off of the bike.
start by slipping the belt around the rear pulley (while the pulley is on the
trans shaft) then take the front pulley & slip (engage) It into the belt, Followed
by slipping the front pulley onto the motor shaft, while the belt is fully meshed with
                          both pulleys.

Hello guys, been a while but was away. I know how to fix a belt on and that picture was an example from another thread thats why i wanted to show but my mistake. I pulled some pictures and used an old belt from a friend to see how many teeth im short i would say max 2 but its seem very small to on the front like its gonna hit the engine case? But its not the right belt yet and is was just put on to see how many teeth i needed. Sorry for the bad english lol.
