    Default Leather work

    Would like to start learning how to work with leather if anyone could point me in a direction on where to get stuff or tips that can help out a beginner

    These days with the internet the way it is I can't believe it hard to find out how to do anything................ All it takes is 10 minutes and you can be a pro if your willing to put time into really learning how to do it............. It's called practice.......... Just buy the tools and have at it.........

    Pretty much. Start with basic kits like a wallet, read up on how to contour what you want, and I would study how horse tack makers do their thing on saddles. Small projects are good to learn on because decent leather ain't cheap. I don't mess with it since I prefer vinyl and it's easier for me to pay someone then shit the money for an industrial sewing machine.

    I seen videos on YouTube but it never hurts to ask and engraving and leather work really catch my eye that's why I'm doing it

    You are very good.......... You should do well.............

    Buy you a starter kit or better yet look on craigs list or ebay........ You might find someone that is getting out of working on leather work................
