Adding Early Brake Crossover Shaft To Later Shovel Frames?
Hi there!
Building a chopper, and I want to add a mechanical brake crossover over shaft to accommodate the mechanical brake set up I want to run in the rear. I don't want a juice, or a disc before you question my motives. lol I'll be running discs up front.
So my question is do I need the original UL/EL motor/trans mount with the bushing, or can I fit it and work it in the grooved depression in the mount (see the pic)?
Not just sloppily welded but proper, and i was thinking of finding a piece of rounded steel to weld on top of the casting to gusset and reinforce, in addition to having the brake crossover stiffener....I bought all the goods from http://raceframeengineering.com/
Has anyone attempted this, and any tips? Thanks! Giorgio

Well, first off that is a killer looking chop.

In short you posted this in the wrong area. it is always helpful to read the rules of the particular thread before posting...
