    Building my father's sporty

    My father recently passed so I'm custom building his sporty in his honor.

    I will say, it is not my style but it is great that you are finishing for your pops. Keep it up. I dont know your experience level but if you get stuck feel free to ask as many questions as needed, just for christ sake give specifics. LOL. I built my sportster out of a bike i got from my grndpas estate after he passed and it is a great feeling.

      Interesting 2004-up swingarm. Post pics when you tear the bike down for blasting and paint.

        The frame its self is a 1987. I fabbed a 2005 swing arm to fit so I could run the 200 wide tire

                No I cut my old swing arm & welded ithe front half of itt to the 2005 swing arm so it was an easy bolt on deal when I was done.
