    Default genuine james "thicker" blue intake seals

    anybody use these? whats your opinion on them? do they last long? thinking of giving them a try.

    I've used other James seals on Evos so there's no reason those shouldn't work.

    As you found out it's all about alignment and support, like a sports bra.

    yeah I bought the support bracket and it fit perfect BUT, once I start revving it up to tune my carb, it causes an immediate air leak and the seal still gets sucked in through that tiny gap because the s&s intake doesn't sit completely flush with the head. hence, that's why I had the thick seals on it before which worked great but haven't used the genuine James ones. im sure they are just as durable.
