I forget the company that made the swingy on this shovel (no longer around),

I remember Sputhe was making aluminum swing arms, although very rare, not sure
if Sputhe made a shovel arm, but I know he made 'em for FXR & even softails if you
    can believe that.
That's a cool shovel-I like the eccentric adjusters, makes wheel alignment easier!
Alan Sputhe made some funky stuff. This is my shrine to him...

That will look just right on your Shovel. It wouldn't necessarily do that on any Shovel but it fits with how you composed your mods and the finished work will be of a piece.

I managed to get to the workshop today and fitted the METMACHEX swingarm,...
real easy took about an hour to get the stock arm out and the new one in.
not quite finished as am waiting on a set of progressively sprung gas shocks from
Mike Capon, an ex world champ bike racer who builds special one off bespoke shocks in France,
I hope to get them by next weekend, the ones on it are 'Progresive Susspension' items
but are shit, WAY too soft
I am also fabricating a more sporty chainguard (a Legal requirement here)
I will get better pictures when its off the ramp next week,.... the quality of the new
arm is fantastic, even comes with new bearings seals and caps and a new wheel spindle
