I think today is a good day to show some progress I made on my 1974 shovelhead fxe.

Then I took off the old bars and tank and chopped the rear fender with reckless abandonment, definitely too short for the struts, I may try to salvage the struts, I read an interesting post about how to round them out on here.

I'm not sure about the pipes, I like them but that side of the bike is not as good looking at the other.

Also taking off the seat and plan to make a pan this weekend, the seat I had was great but was originally a spring seat and just doesn't look how I want for the bike.

So I'm here for now, after the seat I'll see about the pipes, I'm thinking slash cut drags like the ones paughco makes.

Constrictive criticism is very much appreciated

Also no idea about paint color, was thinking of doing the orange that the tins we're originally and adding some flake to it but I think something darker might be better

Any suggestions or
