    I've only found black painted ones for sale so far. I'd prefer chrome though.

    ^^^^ I wouldn't worry about it.... ^^^^^ I wouldn't even run it as they don't work that well plus they look bulky............

    I agree that it would look better without it, but wasn't sure how much difference it would make to leave it off.

    Looks much better...... What are you using to clean the chrome with??????? It looks like it's leaving a lot of scratches in the chrome..........

    00 (or was it 000?) steel wool works great for rubbing on chrome.

    Steel wool on most of it, but I had to resort to a green scotchbright pad for some of the really heavy rust. It did leave some scratches, but it was worth the trade off I think.

    Rustoleum high heat engine enamel. The entire manifold was VERY rusty before, so I wire brushed it, then soaked it VapoRust before priming and painting. I masked off the ends of course, so it won't interfere with the seal, and the gasket surface.

    Green is way to harsh for chrome parts........... Try an SOS pad if you can find it.................

    I agree, have you tried aluminum foil? no matter what I use I only use it wet, damp.
