Looks like a nice find! My ex wife had a Brooks saddle on her Calthorpe, that was a nice piece, complete with brass tag.
Part of the joy of old bikes is finding period parts to use, we used to spend hours trawling for stuff at autojumbles.

Ok so next thing on my list was to replace the ali foot peg hangers. There were ok but I didn't like the proportions, could have carved them up but some of the size was providing the strength so an alternative was required

I turned up some bosses and bought some seamless tube and new folding pegs and made these - the colour match was not spot on for Amaranth red but lest say the frame may have faded in the sun.... fat chance in the UK
