Like I don't have enough projects already, I decided I would build a big twin Evo... Maybe starting a thread will keep me motivated.
Picked up an engine from from a "Reputable Builder" over on Instagram. I thought he was a cool guy, I met him at the Rally in the Alley here in Vegas last year. Builds engines too so that's a plus. Just a "fresh", mild 80" with low compression that pukes oil from the case seam to get things moving.
Then I raided a buddies parts pile for my old replica springer, a transmission, and a Paughco frame. The only front wheels I could find were an 80 spoke or a fat spoke lol.
Dumped it off in the garage with the rest of the projects...
Got a buddy stitching me up a matching solo seat, pillion, single sided saddlebag, tool roll, and bedroll. I also have a hex oil tank on the way. Plan is to keep it simple with a Sportster tank, some Regetta garage bars I have laying around, and a jockey.shift.
We will see how it goes...
