It does the pulling and pressing the new inlet back into the carb body.

Ok, now what do you do to fix it???

I like to use the square bodied brass replacement and a quality vice to press the new inlet in. I have a piece of hardwood that has a cutout in it (goes around the accelerator pump linkage) so it sits flat against the opposing side of the fuel inlet. That helps keep everything square and protect the carb body while pressing the new inlet in.

Works just as well as it did the first time I used it so many years ago...

As am I, though your method is fast, easy and everything is available including the bushing at any local hardware store for dirt cheap. It wouldn't be difficult to copy the Trock tool if desired.
