Who sells a really good semi reasonable priced peanut tank

I taught my 50 Scout to fly but we didn't stick the landing. Since it still holds fuel I'd rather buy a new tank and paint it, that way I can still ride. Id like as close to this Click image for larger version

I'd like to replace it with a shallower tunnel or maybe Frisco.

I just picked up a SS350 Harley tank- looks nice, more like the banana tank than the peanut.

You'd like most the stuff lowbrow customs sells or throttle addiction. Both companies have frisco type mods built into them.

They're both the same chinese supplier so they should cost about the same. I like the shell kits, the screw type caps likely leak a lot less and a jigsaw works just as good as hole saw bits.

Agreed. The old style is horrible by comparison. For one hole a jigsaw blade is fine. To mark irregular surfaces like the shell I'd cut a hole-diameter disc out of painters tape.
