    Need some help identifying my springer

    I bought this springer a few months ago with plans to put this on my ironhead chop, but it was missing the top clamp, I did some research and thought It was a randy enterprise, but after getting what I thought was the correct clamp, I noticed it doesn Click image for larger version

    It's a flat piece of steel with 3 holes in it. Have one made. Or make one yourself.

      I did a look through my files and didn't find that one; it has some nice features; square wound springs like an AEE (but different shape upper spring perch);

      To determine what you need to get a tree and get it mounted, you can use the lower tree as the start of a template. Measure center to center distance for rear legs, diameter of rear leg, offset (if any) of the neck from the back legs, and the thread on the neck post and neck post length. Insert your bearings in the frame cups in your frame with dust caps and measure overall length; use this to calculate the length of the neck, length and placement of the threads and thickness of top nut and crown nut.
