Gonna try to go to carlisle saturday. I've never been to either though. Carlisle just seems a better use of time to me.

Going to Mountainfest, hopefully with the wife on back and some friends on the side. If everyone craps out, I may end up at Carlisle instead. Just someplace I might rather be.

mountainfest is in morgantown wv and a cycle source event so maybe a better scene than the stock and crotch rocket show at carisle. sunday seems to be the day to go to carisle though for the ratrods!!!!!!!! Im still not sure if im going waaaay out to morgantown so might just pop in to carisle and deal with the douchebags there.

Mountainfest was pretty much a yawner as I suspected. Didn't see more than a couple of home builts in the whole dang parking lot. Cycle Source bike show and competition was cool. Got to meet Beaner and a few other folks. Otherwise, the wife and I would have been just as happy tooling around on Skyline Drive.

Carlisle kinda sucked. About 1000 degrees and full of bros, but what else would I expect. I did score a nice spool, a 21" rim with a decent speedmaster on it, and a headlight & tailight for under ninety total. Not too bad.
