    Default Foot clutch

    Morning new to this site so iv got an 81 honda cb900 and want to put a jockey shift and cable foot clutch on it. Just wondered if anyone had some plans for a cable foot clutch many thanks

    Some are a little easier than others...looked at a parts image of your clutch actuator:

    I see the clutch arm is pulled up by the cable. Can you pull the shaft and flip it 180, reinstall the clutch lifter cam, so it is pulling down to release the clutch? That would make for a cleaner cable setup.

    will you be running footpegs in stock location, or with forward controls?

    If stock footpeg location, a brake lever could be made to work to pull down on the lever, with a metal rod and return spring(if needed), no need for cable...just cut off brake lever toe pad and move it over to the other side of the brake arm, weld it on, mount a pivot for the new foot 'clutch lever', done. Well, that's one idea.
