Finally got around to pulling the trans out on the 79. Have some other things I've been needing to address that will be easier now that it is out as well.

Been slacking on this thing too, I've got a shop here doing the trans work on this one. Too much work, not enough time.

I know this is probably the least accurate way to measure these but I was curious if I'll have to swap the main shaft in order to work but you can tell the rotary is thru the nut further however even the end stickout measurements don't line up. Not sure how big of a deal it is I just know there are different main shaft lengths. It came out of an Evo so I assumed the shaft should be the same.

Had to steal that trans for the blue bike because the current one was too far gone, cracked case, gears seized to the main shaft, yada yada. Running and riding good, ready to take a trip to Canada tomorrow. Going to just reseal up the rotary and put it back in with the addition of a stop for my clutch pedal.

    Damn, tough crowd in here.

One, I havent ridden the 79 since the clutch pedal stop was brought up.

Two, I bought the 76 with a shit trans and havent even been able to ride it, so zero signs on my end.

    Thanks bobberadam!
