    Default Softail clutch pushrod

    Anyone know what clutch pushrod I’m after? Guessing stock softail 5 speed, rather know before dropping the coin. Don’t know if I ever had it, can’t find it now.

    Don’t know the trans, would wager ultima. Bdl 3” primary.

    Dunno, but faced with the same problem 11 years ago, used factory outers and made the inner from silver steel rod. Note- ends of the rod were machined to match the radii of the faces of the outer pushrods, and hardened.

    Jireh lists 10.8125, then gives part number 37088-90...which is 10.875. I reckon I’ll order one off the part number and hope for the best.

    Local HD has one for 14 bucks, see If I can make their hours one day.

    Well I guess I could have got a rough idea of length first, but now I have a pushrod in my mainshaft... which is too short of a pushrod. Here I go lookin for a magnet.
