Got this gem off facebook for 200 bucks. Got it home and put a battery and some gas in and it fired right up, thats why shadows are awesome. I did take the carbs off and replaced both slide diaphragm and put a jet kit in them.

Got a seat from a local guy for 20 bucks off a 01 shadow, it kinda fits, i did have to drill a new hole for the bolt on the rear of the seat. I cut the mufflers off and the bike really woke up, which isn't saying much cause its still a shadow but its not the pooch it used to be.

Made some bars up last night. The nice thing about this style of bar is unless you go crazy high you can usually get a way with stock cables and still be fine. I used 1 1/8 .125 wall tubing because i assumed they were 7/8 bars which in fact they are not, so i bored the center piece out to fit my 25 dollar ebay tracker bars which have a nice line in them which actually helped make sure both sides were straight. For the uprights i just turned down some scrap round stock we had at work to fit inside tightly and face welded and the i did one spot weld on the side. After I welded them i faced them again so they were straight then drilled and tapped holes to M12X1.75 which is the size of the riser bushings on the triple tree.

Honda controls are fun and have a pin on the outside of the switch housings, i just drill a 1/4 holes and it fits pretty tight.
