Do it. Post results. If it doesn't work out, reinstall stock front end or install something else.

"The Mid USA "hardbody" springer is almost the same as DNA, the front lgs are a bit beefier, but still Chinese."
"I've had but one experience with a DNA springer. My old boss had one on his dyna. Is been on there a few years. He runs a shop so he is super stringent on upkeep. He's never had problem one with it. Its like running an ironhead...alot of people says the are sorry and always break down. Our seems mostly, at least to me, that its all in the owners upkeep."

I admit I laughed hard at the backhanded inference to quality with the Wally World link.

wot2t, I say go for it, it's only money and although I don't have experience with a lot of springers offered on the market I've found that as a whole even inexpensive products can be made to work reliably depending on the user/owner.

He's probably looking for bad experiences or something. Dunno.

I say go for it. I have an acquaintance who runs no-name brand springers on all his bikes and he rides them hard and never had a problem with them. Maintenance is key.
